AI connector (MCP)
Your AI reads your procurement data — permission-checked and read-only.
We do not build AI into e-Request. We give your AI a way in: the MCP server at POST /mcp speaks the MCP standard that Claude Desktop, n8n and similar tools understand. You paste the address there and attach the model of your choice.
Eight tools are available, all read-only: tenders, offers, suppliers and question-and-answer rounds. There is no write path — by construction, not by setting.
Three things that matter more than the feature itself:
- No model included. e-Request connects to no AI provider. Data always flows from your client to us, never the other way. Cloud model or open model on your own hardware — and whether at all — is your decision.
- No second permission model. The same service account key and the same authorization rules as the REST API. For your AI client you issue a separate key, time-limited and revocable on its own.
- The tool list is maintained in code. “A model may read this” is therefore a deliberate decision every time, not a side effect.
