This policy describes which personal data is processed when you visit e-request.ch. It applies to this website, not to the e-Request application — its data protection is governed contractually with each customer.

Legal basis
We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where visitors from the EU/EEA are concerned, we additionally observe the GDPR.
Visiting the website
When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, page requested, browser and operating system. This data serves secure operation and troubleshooting and is not linked to other data.
No third-party content is loaded. We use Mautic to measure page views, see below.
Contact forms and the guide
When you request a demo, write to us through the contact form or request the procurement guide, we process the details from the form: name, business email address, company, company size, your message where applicable, the language of the page and — if you arrived through such a link — the page or audience from which you opened the form.
The details are sent to our marketing software Mautic at m.e-request.ch. We use them to answer your enquiry and to email you the guide you requested. For an enquiry, our sales team is notified by email. We keep the details for as long as handling the enquiry and any resulting business relationship requires.
If you email us directly, we process the details from your email for the same purpose.
News by email
The forms let you tick a box to receive news from e-Request by email. The box is not pre-ticked and is not a condition of your enquiry. If you tick it, we send you an email with a confirmation link. Only when you click it do we add you to the mailing list; without a click you receive nothing further.
You can withdraw your consent at any time — through the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to the address above.
Mautic and cookies
Every page runs a script from our Mautic instance at m.e-request.ch. It records which pages you visit and for this sets cookies of the domain m.e-request.ch and an identifier in your browser storage. As long as you do not submit a form, you remain an anonymous visitor to us. When you submit a form, Mautic links your past and future page views to your contact. This shows us which content is relevant to your enquiry.
We operate Mautic ourselves; the data is not passed to any third-party analytics or advertising service. You can delete or block the cookies in your browser at any time; the website works without them.
Hosting and disclosure to third parties
The website and Mautic run on a server that we operate with a hosting provider in Germany. The provider processes the data only as far as operation requires. In the assessment of the Swiss Federal Council, Germany ensures an adequate level of data protection.
Beyond that, we do not pass personal data to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your enquiry or required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to receive a copy. Contact the address above to exercise these rights. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
We update this policy when processing changes — for instance when further analytics services are introduced. The version published here applies.
